MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR

Mayor Nolan Crouse

The Arden Theatre’s 28th season has arrived and with it we welcome a host of acclaimed artists from across the country and around the world. We anticipate the return of some familiar faces while introducing new artists to our stage, including Jazz sensation Molly Johnson, Italy’s famed Guitar Republic, The Hot Club of San Francisco, and folk icon Arlo Guthrie.

We are also proud to showcase local artists, including the album launch of pop sensation Colleen Brown, a special 60th anniversary performance by the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, and new Main Stage opportunities for emerging artists associated with U22 Productions.

The Arden Theatre continues to be a beacon of the City’s commitment to cultivating the arts in our community, by presenting a diverse range of music, dance, and theatre. I invite you to share in the unique experience of live performance, enjoy The Arden’s newly renovated seating, and to be lifted, rejuvenated and inspired by the artists on our stage.

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESENTER

Putting together The Arden’s 28th season was like throwing a party. We searched far and wide for a mix of eclectic and energetic ingredients to surprise and inspire you. And now, we pull back the curtains and unveil this vibrant series — bursting with music, dance, film and theatre — for you to discover.

We invite you to experience an Arden Original, a new series of custom-made concerts you won’t see anywhere else. The intimate On-Stage Series returns with a new timeslot, pre-show wine tastings and a dynamic lineup of blues, pop, theatre and poetry, all to enjoy from your seat on the stage.

A big thank you goes out to our illustration artist, Peter Nevins, for capturing our season with such vigour and imagination. And an even bigger salute goes to The Arden Theatre and City of St. Albert Cultural Services staff whose passion and dedication enrich our community every day of every year. We look forward to seeing you at the party and hope you bring your dancing shoes.
