Located in St. Albert, the Arden Theatre is respected regionally, nationally, and internationally for its programming and the role it plays within the community. Since opening in 1984, the Arden Theatre has hosted many of the country’s most respected artists, become a primary production venue for the renowned St. Albert Children’s Theatre, and has been featured annually as a key venue of the celebrated Northern Alberta International Children’s Festival.
Thanks to significant support from the Department of Canadian Heritage, the Arden Theatre invested in a state-of-the-art sound console, installed new theatre seats and added safety aisle lighting in the summer of 2011. This marked the first major renovation of the facility since its opening in 1984.
The Take a Seat Donor Program is designed to recognize or memorialize people with a connection to the Arden Theatre. Take a Seat offers you the unique opportunity to create a lasting legacy in this treasured performing arts venue. Your donation to the Arden Theatre will place the name of your family, friend or business in the spotlight with an elegant, personalized plaque that will be mounted on the armrest of the seat of your choice.
