In a vibrant collision of dance and visual art, Quebec’s Bouge de là investigates the very root of creativity with their latest show, L’atelier (The Studio). Four curious dancers play with all the tools they uncover in an overflowing art studio — from frames, to scarves, to brooms — to create original multimedia pieces using motion capture technology, which recognizes and then projects movement onto the stage as rainbows of colour.
Children watch, amazed, as the dancers move through space like a painter’s brushes on a canvas. With humour and a sense of wonder, L’atelier ignites the fires of inspiration in each young audience member.
Audiences are encouraged to arrive one hour early to enjoy FREE pre-show activities*!
Post-show juice and goodies will be available following each performance.
All performances range in time from 45 minutes to 1 hour with no intermission.
