From stirring, shout-out gospel to funky soul, Linda Tillery & The Cultural Heritage Choir are as much inspired by the roots of traditional slave songs as they are the get-down James Brown sound.

Grammy-nominated Tillery leads this five-strong a capella ensemble as they create music rooted in the Deep South and strongly connected to their West African and Caribbean origins with a repertoire of spirituals, call and answer, blues, jazz and R&B styles. Percussion-driven rhythms, soulful, vibrant vocals and electric on-stage energy set the pace for Arden audiences to get their hands clapping, toes tapping and maybe even shake a tail feather!
