Located in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada, The Arden Theatre has gained an international reputation for excellence. Since opening its doors in 1984, The Arden Theatre has played host to some of the world's most respected artists as well as dance schools, musicians, actors and school groups from the community. Busy over 300 days of the year, the Arden Theatre is home to over 150 events playing to more than 60,000 patrons. |

Throughout history, in every culture across every continent, people have gathered to celebrate by making music, dancing and telling stories. Last year there was much to celebrate during our 25th Anniversary Season with many opportunities to reflect upon how things have evolved to where we are today. Now in our 26th season, we know that our rich heritage has helped shape us and given us the grounding to move forward.
This season the Arden presents a program that reflects both our history and our future with well established artists such as Tom Russell and Kim Mitchell as well as up and coming artists like the Pine Leaf Boys.
The Arden is a gathering place for creativity and innovation, a place that stimulates our senses, and challenges our perceptions. Each year we strive to bring our audiences an eclectic mix of programming and you continue to respond with unwavering support.
Despite economic challenges, we believe the arts are stronger today than ever. There is no better time than now to feed our souls with the captivating, inspiring and powerfully moving performances that will grace the Arden’s stage in the upcoming season.

Ardent Volunteers
Part of The Arden's success is due to the support the theatre receives from the community, and the Ardent Volunteer Corps is an outstanding example. A vibrant group of people with diverse skills and interests, the Ardents volunteer their time and talent in various areas.
Some are house managers and ushers, others work behind the scenes with our technicians while the Hospitality Committee ensures our artists receive star treatment during their stay.

Our friendly, efficient and professional staff ensure your event will be a memorable one. And while the facilities and staff are all top-notch, the rental rates are very down-to-earth, featuring special pricing for not-for-profit groups.
