The Arden Theatre’s Professional Programming Presenter
to return to The Banff Centre

Casey Prescott

It is with mixed feelings that The City of St. Albert’s Cultural Services Department announces the departure of Casey Prescott, Professional Programming Presenter.

Since August 2010, Prescott has brought a unique sense of vigour and imagination to his programming of the Arden Theatre’s Professional Series and Family Series, as well as the Northern Alberta International Children’s Festival, inviting and challenging audiences to explore new avenues of vibrant artistry. Casey will return to The Banff Centre as Theatre Arts Associate Director, where he will be responsible for curating year-round presentations for five performance venues, including the newly constructed Shaw Amphitheatre.

“It is with very mixed emotions that I leave The Arden Theatre to pursue a new opportunity at The Banff Centre. I have cherished my time working for this community, collaborating with the passionate staff in Cultural Services, and developing many new friendships with our wonderful patrons,” explains Casey Prescott. “I will deeply miss having the privilege to serve in this capacity, and my family and I will take many warm memories with us of our time in St. Albert.”

Join us in sincerely wishing Casey and his family all the best as the curtain rises on the next stage of his career.
